Jeanette Gerrity Gómez is an English language learning specialist. Her areas of interest include language learning acquisition and theory and Latin American studies, focused on Central America and Mexico.

Jeanette is currently serving as Assistant Provost for Engaged Teaching, Learning, and Student Success. Previously, she was a member of the Faculty Executive Committee from 2020 to 2025. Jeanette was awarded a Fulbright Core Scholar award in 2014 to UNICAES in Santa Ana, El Salvador, supporting pedagogy in their English programs. She has certifications in Universal Design for Learning from CAST and Learning Design and Technology from Villanova. She has a BA in Spanish, Loyola University Maryland, and an MA in TESOL, Notre Dame University Maryland.
